Note: the samples of the ink colors on this page is to show the general image of the colors. Due to the characteristics of the ink, the color will change.
On Development
After the release of the first version of the shimmering ink, we received comments such as, “It is difficult to understand the shimmer,” “It is a good color but too light,” so we want darker and clearer colors that can be used in everyday life.
We told our ink blenders, Ishimaru and Takahashi, and the first products they produced were HANAGOKORO, SUKIGOKORO, and DATEGOKORO.
The change was surprisingly clear even on normal quality paper, and in addition, the color of the ink itself was so good that we were convinced that it would work.
Next, based on the above points, we asked the ink blender for “a color like blue-black,” and the colors [KOKOROGUMA] and [ZAREGOKORO] were created by chance during the development process.
In the prototypes created by the ink blender, several good and interesting colors were selected from among those that passed through blue-black and ended up “shimmering” in other colors. This is how the “shimmer” of the blue-black color fades away from the blue-black color.
We believe that the “shimmer” is easier to recognize than in the first version, and the colors are easier to use in everyday life.
We hope to share the joy of shimmering ink with many more people.
