Naginata Togi
The ultimate original nib that only a limited number of craftsperson can make.
The nib is sharpened with a larger-than-usual pen point, long like the blade of a long sword and is sharpened at a smooth angle.
The nib can write thick lines when the pen is laid down and thin lines when the pen is upright.
Naginata nib is good to use for writing Kanji, Chinese, characters that are often written with tome, hanae, harai, etc. in the most beautiful way. Compared to a standard nib with the same character width, this pen can write thicker lines. The nib provides a smooth writing feel even without applying pressure.
The nib is available in three widths: medium-fine (MF), medium (M), and bold (B).

Hasui Kawase became a central figure in the new printmaking style as a landscape painter at the age of 35 in 1918.
He traveled throughout Japan for 40 years until his death at the age of 74, leaving behind more than 600 works.
He is known as the “3Hs” of landscape painting, alongside Hokusai and Hiroshige.
Compared to the woodblock prints of the Edo period, new prints were printed 30 to 40 times, which is far more frequent than previous woodblock prints, leads to a realistic finish.
The prints were highly appreciated and were collected by many museums and collectors such as Steve Jobs.
